Wow! these are great. I wonder what year? I'm thinking around 1980 or 81?

These were taken backstage at an anti-nuclear rally at the Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena on June 6 - 1982.

Sanne,

What's the story here. Is it two photos spliced together or is that person on the floor not Stevie?

It's 2 photos spliced together, for some reason Stevie was into that concept in the early 80's (like the Wild Heart cover). Finger pointing was apparently also a thing.
Some more examples:

Thanks. It's like she's saying, "Go to your room, you deadbeat!"

Wasn't that photo sorta of a mock-up of what Stevie originally envisioned for the "Bella Donna" album cover. She then decided that it looked too heavy (the two figures, one standing and pointing, somewhat pejoratively at the kneeling more angelic image) and then afterwards she literally dreamt what would became the BD album image.

it was supposed to be a play on the yin-yang thing. It was written about it an article-- Rolling Stone??--way back when about it representing her daydreaming yin being scolded by her take-charge yang was basically how it was described. Fits with her fascination with being a Gemini and the duality that represents. She did say the picture was "too real"

I thought I'd figured it out yesterday, that it was Famous Stevie telling herself to go back to the gypsy that she was. She lives two lives, after all.

It is Stevie and this was one of HWIII's duo images he was into doing in the early 80's......I wish someone would have given credit for this picture..this was an unpublished photo of HWIII that should not have been posted without giving proper credit. There are many more "duo" unpublished photos by Herbie but it is sad that these photos have gotten out without the proper credit haven been given. But I am crediting it now cause it should not be out there without doing so.

Sorry, I wasn't aware of that. I just did a google search for Stevie photos and this was one of the ones that came up.
