June 28th "It’s with the heaviest of hearts and unbearable sadness that we must inform you of the passing of our dear friend and Yes co-founder, Chris Squire. Chris peacefully passed away last night in Phoenix Arizona."

Really sad news from a few days ago. One of the greatest bass players and the mainstay of Yes is gone. He joins Peter Banks, the original Yes lead guitarist, and keyboardist Andrew Jackman of their mid-late '60s group The Syn. I really treasure the music these guys have made over the years. Check out Chris' Fish Out Of Water solo album from 1975 or a collection of The Syn recordings sometime.
