She may have been drunk as well lol, i remember Dave walker said that Chris could probably drink them all under the table. But chris had often said that she preferred the company of men. And that she developed a filthy mouth and sense of humor because of Mick and John. She was on the road with them from August 1970 on (on and off) and joined to help fill out the sound, although in her words, 'I was married to their bass player, and I wanted to be with my husband. ' Also they all lived together for awhile.. communal living at kiln house and then benifols, which was about 4 years total. Even Jenny Boyd recalls being upset with Mick because he was constantly in John and Christine's apartment talking about Fleetwood Mac while she was stuck alone with the baby. Chris leaned on Mick during times when things got particularly bad with John's drinking. She would sometimes go sleep on his couch on tour. Mick and Chris got a house and quarantined together for awhile during covid; they used to sit out by the pool and Mick joked that people would think they were emotionally involved. So anyway, yes... Mick John and Chris were pretty tight. It made me tear up reading Mick say how he and john were sitting together trying to figure out how to come to terms with this loss. She was just such a massive part of their lives and their memory bank. Still so sad she's gone. To me they all sort of seemed indestructible. --Lis |

I counted her Chicken Shack days when they opened for Fleetwood Mac which is why I said late 60s. I can only imagine the book that was inside her. Not a kiss and tell book. Just fun adventures and crazy fun.

I totally relate. that pic (along with others) was taped behind my door in jr. high. I fell in love with all those faces. at age 12 it became my mission to find out more. and I'm still on that mission , i guess. I can remember in like 1993--1994, i totally didn't get Marty's interest in this 'internet' thing. until one day he said, 'Why don't we make a Fleetwood Mac website?' and *that* got my attention ! --Lis |
