Seems like people who come to know him rarely like him.

I wonder if he expected to spend a year and a half making a record and only get two songs on it. For what it's worth, I like both of them. Time is a solid album: at least average.

It would be interesting to know who the couple of guitar players were who got close to joining. It sounds to me like offers were made, but the offers were ultimately not accepted.

I'd say that with SN,LB, AND CM gone, Old stupid Mick just needed A NAME in the band. Hell, 5 people probably showed up to see Dave. That's better than 4...
