I was in the car singing along to Say You Love Me in my best Christine voice and I suddenly realized I was sounding like Cher, so there might be something to this theory after all.

I was singing “All Over Again” the other day on the way to the market, and I realized I was sounding like Patti LaBelle. I think the stylistic link between those two has yet to be fully explored or even understood.

While I don't think they sound alike, they both do have deep, throaty voices.

Christine voice has not changed with the time, or change a very little bit. You can recognize her in the early FM years as in Tango.

Cher voice at I Got You Babe (with Sonny) is very very different from that of Believe.
