Well, I just got back from Las Vegas...and am SO tired...so I haven't read this entire thread...BUT...I did watch an intriguing piece on gas prices while at the Radio and Television News Director's Association conference...
And gas prices are technically NOT at an all time high. The price (when cost of living and inflation are taken into account) peaked in the 1970's...by today's standards the prices topped out at more than three dollars per gallon!! Also...other countries pay higher prices for gas...at least they did at the time this story was put together...I actually don't know the exact date... Anyway...it really puts things into perspective...at least it did for me... |
