Default A message of HOPE, The Rainbow Bridge

This is for all you folks who lost furry family members. It was the only thing that saved my sanity when I lost my Kwai Chang after 20 years. I hope it helps those of you that are currently grieving....I wish I could present it here the way it is on its own page but I dont know how to do that....if someone does, maybe they can post it in its real form.

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Thank you for posting this link ..That site is a Godsend for anyone who has ever had a ill pet or had to say good -bye to a loved fur/feather friend..
I first found that site almost 4 years ago when I lost my best friend Buster..and the compassion, support and friendships made there is unbelivable..The man who runs it..Ed Williams does it all on donations and with much love for all..For anyone who is missing their friend(s) check it out and read some of the posts and tributes.. you will understand you are not alone and can always find a friend in the chat room too...
(((Hugs))) to all who are missing that special love

Della's story is particularly poignant.
I was in despair after Kwai Chang died until I learned of the Rainbow Bridge. Now, I have something to look forward to.....so many friends to reunite with.
here is my Grand Old Man. he was HUGE.
