Right...and as of last year she was so clairvoyant that she predicted exactly what was going to come to pass when those two states jumped the gun on the primaries ..if she could see into the future that well she could have circumvented the disenfranchisement of voters in Florida in 2000 and put the kibosh om the entire Chimpco nightmare of the last seven and a half years.

Oh please... she knew the deal. MI is chock full of "white working class voters" and FL is chock full of Jews, old ladies and Latinos- poison for their golden calf. Yet, when South Carolina moved up their primary, that was "okay." Donna Brazille has simply discredited herself beyond any hope of repair. |

Democrats who won't vote for Obama are now being called "insane", with the added implication that most are racist. We can expect this type of treatment right up to November, with much indignation and self-righteousness towards such Democrats. Probably by people who never cared when Michelle Obama said she would have to think about voting for Hillary Clinton. And watch for people who put the responsiblity of fixing the rift all on Hillary Clinton, and ignore that one of Obama's advisors has already said that he will not do much in the way of "wooing Clinton supporters".

I think that if the Obama camp is smart, they will realize: 1. Obama did not get many of the delegate vote by actual elections. 2. Hillary Clinton is a very good ally to have in that she's got tens of millions of votes that are waiting for her lead. 3. Obama may get the blacks vote, but he cannot win without a significant portion of the white, Jewish, and Hispanic vote in the main electorally relevant states and Hillary somewhat commands that crowd. So, they better not get to high on the horse and piss her off. Hopefully, the neophyte has learned at least that. |

I remember when it looked like Hillary might pull ahead, the Obama fans were singing the same song Hillary fans are now singing. |

PRINCETON, NJ -- A sizable proportion of Democrats would vote for John McCain next November if he is matched against the candidate they do not support for the Democratic nomination. This is particularly true for Hillary Clinton supporters, more than a quarter of whom currently say they would vote for McCain if Barack Obama is the Democratic nominee. These conclusions are based on an analysis of Democratic voters' responses to separate voting questions in March 7-22 Gallup Poll Daily election tracking. In each day's survey, respondents are asked for their general election preferences in McCain-Clinton and McCain-Obama pairings. Democratic voters are then asked whom they support for their party's nomination. The accompanying graph displays the results of the relationship between support for the Democratic Party's nomination and the general election vote between Obama and McCain. sorry I couldn't paste the graph but you can get the idea.
