Go Insane Melodies
Is it just me or are there a bunch of recycled material on Go Insane? Most obvious is the chorus of Bang the Drum which, I think, comes from Eyes of the World. The guitar solo in Play in the Rain reminds me of the Rhiannon guitar solo from FM Live. Am I crazy or is there something to it?
Also, thought it's not on Go Insane, the chorus of Murrow seems to be lifted from the first verse of Black Betty IMO. |

He recycles all the time. The bridges of Bleed to Love Her/You Do or You Don't, the bridges of Not That Funny/I Know I'm Not Wrong, the phrase "face of glass," just about every guitar solo he's ever played, etc.

I guess I knew most of those; I meant is It just me or does he do it more often on that album?

I never specifically noticed him doing it more on that album. I never even noticed the Bang the Drum/Eyes of the World recycle, so good ear there.
I just remembered another! Surrender the Rain/You and I Part II riff.

Yep. Then again, most of the songs on OOTC are blatant re-writes of his Tango material.
