I was a member of Dimeadozen and with great anticipation attempted the torrent thing. I had bit-tornado and two other programs (they are still on my computer at home...something called flac ?), but could never figure it out.

If I wanted to download something, I had to have the correct "ratio thing" happening, and when I tried to upload, to get my ratio up there, I still wasn't doing something right.

I subscribed to the yahoo user-question/answer thing and after reading it for 9 months, I found out that with inactivity, I was no longer registered with Dime.

Like I said..."It's Klingon to me." and I need a tutor to come out to the trailer where me and the other special kids take our classes...

I don't know if this answered your curiosity question...and I suppose if I had someone show me how, I would be more competent, until then, like Blanche DuBois, I will have to "rely on the kindness of strangers."

If you're stupid or your computer is stupid, it doesn't work. Now, I'm not assigning blame to myself or my computer. I'm just saying . . .
