"Work from Home" businesses?
Does anyone have any experience with legit "work from home" companies? I know a lot are scams.
Any recommendations on any other ways to work from home with minimal training? (Medical Billers, example)? |

I have a friend that has been searching for a legit work at home business for four years. She has yet to find one that is real. They either charge you a fee for information or seem more interested in gathering personal information by pretending to be an employer. If you think about it, most people would be hesitatant to give out their SS#, but will do so in a flash to a potential employer.
While I am sure that there are some legit jobs, I think most companies use existing employees for this. I can't imagine a company paying a person that they never met, to work from home where they have no control over them. Usually to work from home, you need to be given access to the companies phone system and computer network, neither of which any responsible company would give to a stranger. I think the best idea, if you are interested in a business in which you can work from home, is to start your own business. |
