So hard to decide but my favorite would be "Sisters of the Moon."
1. "Silver Springs" from The Dance. The way she interacted with Lindsey and you can see the electricity, the anger, the love, the hate and yes, maybe, even a bit of desire between them. haha I love the song. 2. "Angel" video and Stevie/Lindsey holding each other as they sing and I love the little ballet segment at the end. I love watching this video, it makes me laugh and smile just watching FM work their magic and Stevie's dancing ![]()

I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but her backing vocals on Needles & Pins with Tom Petty is for me, an amazing Stevie moment (I'm currently in love with this song, and this version especially).

There are so many...too many to put into words but ONE stands out amongst the rest - June 20, 2004 - the night I met Stevie backstage after a SYW show in Irvine, CA. I wrote a synopsis of the entire encounter which I shall post at some point in the future.
There is something else. At all of the live shows I've attended (both Stevie and FM), I've been in the first 10 rows the majority of them if not standing directly in front of the stage. I do not take my eyes off Stevie for the entire show (unless of course she's off stage). It's as if no one or nothing else in the world exists (Lindsey? Who's Lindsey?). I actually prefer to go alone to shows because I am so transfixed and don't want to be bothered. It's as if I'm staring into her soul. It's such a high. There's nothing else like it. |

No, this was when FM were on the AMA's, in 2004 I guess it was. Kimmel was the host.

This is hard to pick two but,
1. EOS, "the clouds never expect it when it rains, but the sea changes color, but the sea does not change" This line has always hit me so hard, and it has to be the studio version. To me, her voice has never sounded better than with this line, and it really touches me. 2. Another is the Say You Will album, every Stevie song on there, especially Thrown Down is incredible to me. It could be because it was my first new album by FM, but hearing "you're not like other people, you do what you want to" has always made me want to burst into tears for some reason..and Illume also has that same effect. And I realize I am in the drastic minority for claiming Silver Girl to be one of my favorite Stevie songs, and FM songs in general. But the chorus to that song is amazing! "shadows move her face, you cannot see her soul, unless she lets you" |
