Is anyone else pissed off about what's going on with Law and Order SVU?

I don't know if any of you are fans of this show, but, I have been an avid watcher for years.
I am beyond enraged about the way the season ended, considering Chris Meloni is not coming back, and Mariska Hargitay is only doing half of next season.
After over a decade of parternership, you would think Dick Wolf would care a little more about tying up lose ends with his characters, than this.

I find it abrupt, indifferent to fans of the show, and just ridiculous!!

Anyone else?

I am distraught

I didn't see the season's ending though, did they give any impression at all that Elliot was about to leave for good?

Not at all...you should try to stream the episode somewhere..you wil be shocked

Haven't watched it in years, but when I did, it was solely because of Chris Meloni. That man is sex on a stick!

Without him, who cares?

Hope he finds another regular TV stat, tho.

I used to love this show but I haven't kept up with any new episodes for a few years now. If that's really what is going to happen they just need to end it, really. Elliot and Olivia are the whole show.

Sure maybe the original could get away with bringing new people in and out. kind of like ER, but you can't do that 12 years after having the same people! SVU should have ended on a high note but instead they are just going to drag it out until no one is watching.

I don't even think the story lines are that good anymore. I much prefer the first few seasons over anything recent
