![]() Hi Ledgies, here a little report about how the album is doing in Germany.
1. week no 10 2. week no 13 3. week no 14 4. week no 20 5. week no 30 quite succesful imo, but now it needs a new spark. Peacekeeper (like it a lot!) failed as a commercial single, but usually 14 year olds buy singles over here, older ones buy the albums, especially as there was no new material as a b side (but "smile at you") As far as I can say, the song is/was doing quite good on the radio. It's been playing on some large mainstream pop stations for several weeks, I just heard it today (the break your will- version) On the other hand a friend of mine who was a FM fan before Lindsey left and then lost interest in the following lineups (just as me) did not know about the new song and the new album up until I told him. So there still seems to be some space left in terms of promotion. I think when the following single (= Say you will) gets succesfully released over here the album sales will get up again. At least I hope so. ![]() |

![]() Thanks for posting the info, Stefan.
It's always nice to know how the Mac is doing overseas. I'd like to hear where else the album was released abroad, and how it's doing...has it been released in Japan? I know Stevie's big in Japan, and the Mac used to be huge there, back in their 'Rumours' heyday... Very interesting, thanks again.
