Like that "What does it matter if he had them or he was trying to get them..." quote. Just trying to see if anyone actually is OK with this. I remember when Clinton's lies were being exposed there were liberals who still defended him and those who were disappointed by him. But it seems no conservative will DARE say a bad word about Bush, and that's more frightening to me that any of gldstwmn's opinions...
Actually, Bill O-Reilly lambastes Bush fairly regularly. Hence, my calliong him a moderate. But, you are correct, like with Clinton, the party faithful just blindly follow - a little like lemmings in this case IMO.

BTW - while I am sure Paul O. is telling the truth, he does come off as a pissed off fired employee. To me, his book would have more apparent credibility if he had toned down the rhetoric.
How do you know? The book doesn't even come out until Tuesday.

BTW - I listened to Rush's "Spirit of the Radio" during my 45 minute drive (each way) today. Greatness!

I have read sniglets. And - I was talking about the Bush being a blind man in a room full of deaf people comment. I mean, while perhaps true, it does come off as bitter to many.

I think his attitude about a constiutional ban on gay marriage is way off base and I totally disagree with it. I agree with Jason's(strandinthewind) sentiments in a previous post of his about it.

I'm not necessarily fond of his speech or his mannerisms. He's got that "cowboy with an attitude" look about him.

Is that enough?

He didn't strike me as being bitter. I think he's a straight shooter, ala McCain or Dean. The Bushies sure are in quite a dather over it though, which further leads me to believe they are in trouble. hell, they've even lost bin Laden. How do you lose a guy that's on kidney dialysis?

Agreed - but to amend the Const. to enforce a religious priciple held by about half of Americans is the far right at its "best" and is scarier to me than many other things W has done.

If the Bush Administration admits to overstating the threat posed by Iraq to the US, do you have a problem with that?

Of course I do, and I've already said that I agreed with Jason(strandinthewind) when he replied to your previous inquiry about this.

How about Karl Rove outing a CIA agent? That's a felony.

You were a little vague, saying that you thought the truth was being stretched, but I appreciate the clarification.

Mad4Stevie, do you also agree with strandinthewind?
