The Very Best of Jackson Browne

About a week ago I heard You Love The Thunder on last.fm and thought it was one of the greatest things I've ever heard. How have I missed such an obviously brilliant artist all my life?? For some reason not only do I love just about every song on both cds but I have the hugest crush on him

Florence + The Machine Ceremonials
2nd listen right now. I fell in love with "Lungs" so picked up Ceremonials yesterday. Songs are very good but I'm finding the vocals to be softer than the instruments, just not as crisp as on Lungs. Maybe it is my car stereo IDK...will try a listen in the house soon.

Same! And I think you're right, I don't like the production of it as much as Lungs, but it's a great album and I particularly love Only For One Night, Leave My Body, Shake It Out, and Strangeness and Charm. So far these are my favourites

Miranda Lambert - Guilty In Here from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. I love this album! This is my favourite song from it at the moment and the following line is one of the best country lyrics I've heard in years: "'cos the good ones all got wedding rings and the young ones are just too dumb, and I don't think I have any more room underneath my thumb". Brilliant!

Switched from Miranda to one of my favourite songs of all time. It's still fantastic all these years later! Also, it was on the playlist a couple of times on holiday and was great to blast out while driving through Texas!

I'm working on listening to my entire music collection (at least everything that fits on my iPod!!) by artist, alphabetically.

Slighly anal-retentive, I know!! Usually I listen to everything alphabetically by songs, but recently decided to do something different.

I'm in the "E's" right now, finishing up Eric Church's "Sinners Like Me" CD, then moving on to Eric Clapton. That will lead me to the Everly Brothers, the Fixx, then the might FM and on from there.

Since I've been listening to everything alphabetically by individual songs, I haven't listened to whole CD's for a long time, so this has actually been nice to get the entire CD again. I'd somewhat forgotten what all the songs together on different CD's sound like. It will be very interesting to listen to all the FM stuff as whole CD's again.
