I'm still undecided on who I'm rooting for for Best Actor. I actually really liked The Aviator, and I've never really liked Leonardo DiCaprio aside from Gilbert Grape- but I thought he was phenomenal (and yes, Diss, I already know your opinion on that). But Don Cheadle rocked my socks off in Hotel Rwanda. God, at least Paul Giamatti wasn't nominated, because then I really would've been screwed.

I don't like Charlize's dress.

Leo doesn't stand a chance. Not one. I'd love to see it go to Cheadle, who was fabulous, but it will go to *gag* Jamie Foxx. I loathe Jamie Foxx.

Bo surprise there - All predicted Foxx would win and he was MARV. in it!

AND gldstwmn and I have partied with him

I thought Leo was stupendus (sp.?) in that role. But, his apparent youthful looks took away from the believability of the performance (again, to me his acting was great!!!!) - I mean in that scene when he was yelling at Hepburn, it was as if he was her son

I thought Johnny Depp's performance was the only good thing about Finding Neverland. I thought it sucked, too, which was really disappointing- I wanted to like it.

I hate Jamie Foxx. It was tough for me to get over my dislike of him to enjoy Collateral. I still like what he's wearing.

I liked it. I thought it was too slow moving though. I think it is a good example of HORRID editing

I also thought part of the story was old hat. The whole mean mother of the girl, etc. - it has been done and by better IMO.

Yes, I'm sure he was. On another note, that clip I saw of Cate Blanchett as Kate Hepburn, I didn't care for. I suppose it would be really hard to come closer to Kate than that, though, so...

I despise Foxx. He turned Ray Charles into a charicature. I really didn't like what he did and his continual whoring of Ray Charles is sickening. I was really off-put by his stunts at the Grammy's.
