Everything will be ok with family that in now live in my Dad's state of Montana.He passed many years ago from cancer.But I was born here in California.I very glad to be of help here posting things for all of us.I have a quick update,I just found out about tonight.

I just saw Sean,Nico signed on and reading his message board,a few minutes.But he doesn't respond that often to any threads anymore.I think he is just to busy.Also it must be kind of weird reading ones own board.Seeing what fans are saying about you.But he seems to really care about about all of fans.

Takes us a while to connect with Satomi — a case of confused messages and blurred international datelines; inevitable, really, when you consider how scattered the band members themselves are. As things currently stand, Greg Saunier (drummer and founder member) lives in New York, guitarist John Dieterich is based in Albuquerque, second guitarist Ed Rodriguez (and his dog) calls Portland home, while Satomi has recently left her Tokyo abode for a year on the road promoting new album Deerhoof Vs Evil. We caught up with the bass-playing vocalist outside John's house, where they are currently holed up in the basement preparing to take on the world.

Rebecca Minkoff Invites Sean Lennon's GOASTT to Perform at Runway Debut
Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl of GOASTT
It seems MUGLER's Nicola Formichetti was onto something when he tapped Lady Gaga to perform at his runway debut. Now, Rebecca Minkoff is bringing the idea stateside by making her official runway debut with the help of musical duo GOASTT. Held on Feb. 11, Minkoff will show her full line at Lincoln Center’s Theater, with musical accompaniment from Sean Lennon and Charlotte Muhl, who make up the band. “Originally when I was concepting the collection, a lot of the inspiration was photos of Charlotte,” said Minkoff. “So our CMO reached out, and they were interested!”
Muhl will wear a Rebecca Minkoff look during the show, and Minkoff anticipates the duo will sing about two songs. For Minkoff fans who can't make it to the tents, the designer has already confirmed that entire show will be simulcast on Facebook and minkette.com

THE GHOST of a Saber Tooth Tiger is a mouthful. The band name does not flow freely when used in conversation, and creates even heftier roadblocks when assembled anywhere in the middle of a sentence. Though, it is notably peculiar that when viewed acrostically it spells "GOASTT," which when pronounced, reads like "ghost." Call it a stretch, but after spending ample time in the world of Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl's Acoustic Sessions, it seems the least bizarre of observations to be made.

Canadian Woman First To Graduate With Beatles Degree

LONDON — A Canadian has become the first person to graduate from a Liverpool university's master's program on The Beatles.

But Mary-Lu Zahalan-Kennedy says she wasn't a Fab Four fanatic when she started the degree.Zahalan-Kennedy, a music teacher at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ont., was the only one in the program who "didn't know every intimate detail" about the Beatles' lives, she said."I mean, I certainly liked their music, but I hadn't read every book ever written on them," she said Wednesday in a phone interview from Liverpool.Now, of course, she knows enough about them to teach a course, which she intends to do at Sheridan in the fall. Zahalan-Kennedy said she is working on an undergraduate popular music course that will draw heavily on what she learned in the program.A former Miss Canada finalist, she signed up for the degree at Liverpool Hope University when it launched in 2009 and graduated Wednesday.She is one of 12 full-time students enrolled.The program, "The Beatles, Popular Music and Society," is considered by the university to be the first of its kind.It involves much more than "just being a Beatles fan and listening to their music all day," Zahalan-Kennedy said."It's really about history and genres of music and semiotics, which is the language of music and ... how communities are forged with different identities happening because of the way music is delivered," she said.The course also deals with how the port city of Liverpool helped shape the group's identity -- the university is based in the band's hometown in northwestern England.While she doesn't have a favourite song, Zahalan-Kennedy said Paul McCartney is her favourite Beatle.

Mark Waters in Talks to Direct Beatles Time-Travel Comedy " GET BACK "

Here’s something I never thought I’d say: director Mark Waters (Mean Girls) is apparently in negotiations to direct a Beatles-themed time-travel comedy called Get Back. Written by Chris McCoy, the movie centers on two Beatles-fans who travel back in time to prevent John Lennon from ever meeting Yoko Ono, thereby preventing the Beatles from ever breaking up. It’s Back to the Future meets…….something. Waters recently just wrapped shooting Mr. Popper’s Penguins with Jim Carrey. Variety reports that he hopes to start filming Get Back late this summer in London. Not much else is known about the project at this time. Now, who should play the fab four?

Man, I LOVED their Conan appearance!

Thanks for the links again, msLinds. Um, that Beatles movie sounds a little odd. I don't understand why people think Yoko's appearance in John's life was this horribly negative thing. From the man himself it was the exact opposite, but whatevs... People choose to believe what they want to, and frankly I'm the kind of person who will see a Beatles-related film if it's well made so I won't completely write it off- as fictional as it may be.

Speaking of well-made Beatles-related films...how amazing is "Nowhere Boy?" Got it and watched it tonight. I had seen it in the theatre of course but...wow. John had a TOUGH childhood/young adult life, period. It wasn't normal, yet it was still filled with love. The movie is AMAZING. Any lurkers out there: watch it! It will give you an even deeper understanding of what made this man the way he was.

BTW: msLinds, have you any idea about when Julian's new album is supposed to be out? OR even where he is because he's being quite quiet (like LB a bit) when he's supposedly preparing a new album...well I guess the surprise will be worth it.

I agree Nico about your feelings about this so called comedy time traveling movie being filmed.Its a shame and sad that people actually still blame Yoko for breaking up the Beatles.I know Nowwhere Boy is out on DVD Now.I hope to order my copy on Amazon very soon.As for Julian,from his Facebook page he says his new album is suppose to come out sometime in 2011.But the album has been done for a couple of years now.So who knows he will release itHe recently did post on his Facebook page he was tired and had been traveling for months and wanted a little time to go home and relax for a while. Sean and Charlotte's next new album is going to be called " Victorian Cyborg '.That is suppose to come out sometime in 2011.It sounds like its pretty much done.They said in interviews they are still doing stuff to it,untill they are happy with it.But I will be letting you all know here.When I hear about a release date for it in the future.Well The Goastt tour ended this past saturday.But I am sure they will keep busy and doing other performances to in the near future.I have one update and 3 new video' tonight.Everyone have a safe and and good week and take care

Sean Lennon‘s last studio album, Friendly Fire, was brilliant. Not only was it chock full of great pop songs, but it also came with a DVD with a full album’s worth of cinematic music videos… for the entire album. Back in 2008, his new band Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger (with Charlotte Kemp-Muhl) had a presence on MySpace… and put out some songs that eventually blossomed into the debut album – Acoustic Sessions (out in late 2010). They hit the road this past December & January, winding up with their last few shows here on the West Coast.

The Hollywood Bowl's just announced preliminary 2011 concert lineup will include an appearance by Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger with Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl.The duo will appear at the iconic venue*Aug. 28 in a tribute to French singer-songwriter Serge Gainsbourg. Also appearing will be Jean Claude Vannier, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, China Forbes and Beck, plus additional guests to be announced. The show will be part of a three-concert World Festival series co-sponsored by eclectic radio station KCRW-FM*in June, July and August. The July 24 Rickey Minor's Global Sound Revue program will feature Stevie Wonder.
*Subscriptions for the Bowl's season go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday.*The duo performed in Los Angeles just*last Sunday at the Troubadour Club.

um, no. I can't be required to answer this. Are you kidding? The man had one of the most incredible voices I have ever heard in my life. But just to be random, this song is my current favorite of his at the moment and he sounds amazing here so eat it up:


I simply can not. They are too different. I love each of them for different reasons but I suppose I'd have to choose Nobody... not because it's the more accessible but because I love the sentiment of this song, and the feeling behind it. He's not quite as sinister, though I dig that other side of him as well.

John Lennon was one of the most fascinating minds of the 20th century. I can't pull one quote by him and call it my all-time favorite because he said so many things over his lifetime that rang true and still ring true for me and millions of others who really felt where he was coming from. Here's one example I've always loved:

That new more electric tour CD " La Carotte Bleue " they sold at their performances in Europe in December, 2010.Also only at their performances in the USA this past January 2011, is being sold on Sean Lennon's own label Chimera Music.I don't see it being sold on Amazon or anywhere else yet.I think these are going to sell out.I wanted to post it here first for any other Sean Lennon and Goastt fans the information.So they get the first chance of getting a hold of them.I will come back later to comment on your postings Nico.Everyone have a good evening and take care
