I have the world's best dogs. This was taken by my dad when I was home last week and it makes me miss them every time I see it. Seriously, they're 120 pounds each and they both sleep in my full bed with me.... they're my children. They're getting old, which scares the **** out of me-- the white one has bad hip dysplasia.

So I usually don't wear make up because I REALLY don't look like me in it, but it.is.a.miracle.worker. I had a really rough day today. I took twenty high schoolers on a college trip to a school two and a half hours away from them, and although my students are amazing, and most of the administration of the college were incredible and helpful, we ran into issues that I can't explain here that really, really upset me. I took before and after pics as I put my make up tonight before a pretty big party but after this day of hell. I'll probably take most of it off before I actually head out, but it's cheering me up right now.
