Not really sure why but that pic of Kristen wearing the blue dress, in front of the mural thing reminds me of that scene in the Seven Wonders video where Mick is pulling back that curtain to reveal that mural, LOL

Vivian, you're cute and it cracked me up. But I am sorry girl, I can NOT agree with you and spikey on that expensive dress. Too much pastel she looks like So-Cal Barbie's older, more serious sister. I sort of like her with the color, for sure, but not the pastel.

And if you all must know, I am a fashion connoisseur so while you may find my opinions trite and shallow I honestly mean no harm personally towards Mrs. B. I just feel like, if you're going to rock a maxi frock with sleeves, wear it with some HOT boots or heels not white-thong sandals- and the sash! Oh dear.

I like her in the dress. I think standing in front of the mural detracts from it though, because you've got too many colors going on. But if she was standing in front of a neutral background, I think the dress would work great.

The reason I like her in the dress is because it makes her look "softer" - she looks too hard and cold in a lot of pics, especially the "business-like" outfits.

I just like the dress anyhow!

This is not an easy dress to pull off, but I think Kristen does it brilliantly. It's all about context. It's not a dress you would wear in New York (the Hamptons, perhaps). And it's a little too colorful to wear out at night. In the context of the tall, willowy SoCal housewife hosting an afternoon reception in the garden, it is perfect. The flat sandals and lack of jewelry keep the look understated and helps to give off a Bohemian Bourgeois vibe. And I can't help but wonder if this is the sort of thing that Lindsey himself would have worn 35 years ago, albeit, a somewhat shorter version of it.

I do agree, I think Kristen pulls off the dress well.

If Lindsey had worn that it would have been one blue sash over the line.

That's right!

To clarify my earlier comment, I just think she looks cute in the dress. I don't think she should be wearing it around sunny SoCal for a fashion statement, or working as a fashion designer in it. I just think for a photo shoot, in a colourful house, it's a cool look.

I'm a 25 year old married guy, so fashion-wise, I'm the wrong demographic 3 times over to ask.
