Was the PBS Show Centerstage an OOTC concert? I thought it was done in 1992.

No. I don't think it was even released on VHS (maybe I'm wrong). We just copied it from tv.

Sadly not. They should really release it though, it's such a great concert.

OOTC tour
Wow, the whole concert on Online Video!!! It is much crisper and clearer than on my VHS recording. Yeah, it is only a snipet of the actual show...I saw him in Austin, TX in 1993. Best concert ever!!!! So intimate and up close. I remember it like it was yesterday.
But, one thing I've always wondered. My VHS copy, which someone recorded for me, is from VH1, and we see the VH1 logo in the bottom right of this online version as well. I remember back in 1992, PBS advertising a Centerstage performance, but I missed its televised date back then. Folks on here also discuss, or refer to this recording as PBS's Centerstage. I am curious if there were two different televised concerts: one on PBS and one on VH1. Does anyone know? |

I'm pretty sure it was originally a PBS Centerstage show, but was later broadcast on VH1.

Yes. One of the broadcasts had more concert footage than the other, whereas the other had interspersed interview snippets with Lindsey. I forget which was which. Allegedly, the show took place in Chicago, but it always sounded suspiciously like the San Juan Capistrano radio broadcast from the tour.
