Yes it's real in terms of it actually being Stevie in the picture. Is it real in terms of being 100% authentic? No. Everyone knows pictures like this in magazines are re-touched. Some very little and some a lot. I couldn't say which it is for this pic but I'd say not too much but still guys, the re-toucher was busy with this one and it's not a dis, she looks amazing. It's just customary in this industry.

At least for her now.

Nope--I totally, totally agree with you. She looks beautiful. And significantly, she consistently looks beautiful. I get wanting some variation, but why fix it if it ain't broke? One needs only to look through her old photos to realize how lovely the current style is.

I reluctantly agree. The permed out and layered hairstyles Stevie sported in her heyday, were in style, and Stevie wore them well (for the most part) for that time. But, at her age, I think the straight hair consistently does work. I welcome subtle changes here and there, like the SoundStage or The Dance soft curls , which she has sported a few times on the H & S tour. But this ELLE picture is outrageously fantastic

. The pose, the pout, the hairstyle AND those EYES! The black crisp shoulder strap dress against the B & W background. It all works. Something about this picture and pose reminds me of a 60's era high fashion pictorial.

yup...like the album cover, the more I look at this pic the more I like it. Her expression is kickass and though I'm not a fan of the straight hair, I like how they've got in all pushed forward along the sides of her face. very hot!!
