Thanks for the review and photos! Lindsey probably looks older just because he's gotten so skinny, which makes his forehead look more pronounced and his cheeks look sunken. He's probably lost hair - inevitably - but the continued weight loss emphasizes it (IMHO). He needs to eat more Wheat Thins!

Wish I could have been there - sounds very cool!

THANKS Michele! I always love your reviews, and this was no exception...they're the closest thing to being there! Thanks too, for the photos. Yeah, he's lost a little more hair, and is skinny as ever, but damn, I think he looks great!!! I CAN"T WAIT FOR HIM TO TOUR!!!!!!!!!!

Great review and pictures - thanks! Felt like I was really there (and oh how I wish I could have been but with air fares as well and not a lot of notice, it wasn't possible). He does look thinner but he's only human like the rest of us!! He still looked good and he looked great at the corporate gig last week. I'm looking forward to 2011 and am over the moon he's won the award!!! Here's to seeing much more of Lindsey real soon!!!

Thanks for the detailed review! It sounds like FM has this secret Hollywood following that only a few are willing to confess. It's almost as taboo as being gay in Hollywood! Lol I could only imagine that these tour rehearsals are like a parade of A-list celebrities.

It's great that he performed three songs. I was under the impression that he would do one, maybe two.

Thumbs up

thanks for the nice review, wish i was there! if i didn't live so far... really hope he tours (east coast!) behind the new cd.

actually, the whole event sounds like it was really great - list of people who participated and performed in that small space reads almost like who's who of cool - well, for the middle age people

if anybody's interested in more info on yesterday's event, try typing lindsey buckingham in twitter search - there are some nice posts full of admiration for his performance last night. also, ryan adams has some stuff with replies from people on his facebook page (although he spells lindsey's name wrong).

I was happy that there were an entire 4. I think Ryan and Randy got to do 4 as well. Lindsey said that he was somewhat surprised when he got the call from Judd Apatow, but surely he must be wise to the secret Hollywood following by now.

That's a great tip. In this day and age, we always have to check twitter. I'm still trying to get into that habit.

Brought home by a spellbinding solo set by Lindsey Buckingham. Amazing. @isobelakenhead and @wheatles would have completely loved it.

On the comedy side, I meant to mention that Eric Idle introduced Randy Newman. Maria Bamford was extremely funny, with the panoply of voices she does and her can-be-a-surprise-psycho demeanor. Garry Shandling killed it, which was a surprise since his recent talk show appearances have not entertained me. He was hysterical last night, I felt. I didn't think Aziz Ansari was especially humorous, however.

Michele, thanks so much for sharing this with us! Your reviews are always a lot of fun to read. Anyway, LB looks good. And I'm stoked about this new album, which he appears to be quite secretive about for some reason. But there's an obvious confirmation so I am just going to smile and wait. I love being an LB fan.

maybe he's waiting to see whether it will stay solo or somebody will want it rolled into a future mac album?
(although i like "real" GOS a lot, original GOS would have been his best album ever imho...)
