This is unreal.... The truth is after I first heard it, and before turning on cnn, I thought - okay, this has to be some sort of publicity stunt! Man, this is so unreal... That is young... I'm not THAT far from 50!

He and Farrah passing is too much for one day. They are two huge parts of my childhood. My condolences to his family and may he rest in peace.

Now that the shock has sunk into my head------what are his children going to do?
Makes it more the sadder. Life had to be different and who is going to teach them life in "another" world? The real world? Very sad all around.

I have missed all this b/c I have little kids and NOGGIN is on my TV. We got in the car for a second to move it in the driveway, and heard "Obviously we will be playing lots of Michael Jackson" and from there, figured it out. So Surreal for me.

What a sad, sad day in the entertainment world today. And yes, Michael and Farrah were 2 huge loves of mine, while I was growing up, in the 70's. I'm devistated beyond words today, as it's been a very sad one. God definitely needed 2 stars in Heaven today.. May both Michael and Farrah RIP...

Wow. I have to say that this is an extreme shock to me. I grew up in the 80s and MJ was, to me and so many others, an icon. I loved his music and it just makes me really, really sad. He was an odd little man, but so gifted and seemed so kind. Troubled but kind. I can't quite take it all in. I have all the albums and I'm remembering dancing to Thriller. Oh... I'm just going to be sad for a while...and my childhood best friend is going to be mortified.

Michael WAS the "three":

Ed McMahon, then Farrah, then Michael.

I was driving to one of my accounts this afternoon when the radio dj announced Farrah's death. Then he played "One of these Nights" by the Eagles. I burst into tears and cried for about 20 minutes. I almost was gonna cancel work over my grief. She was such a huge part of my teenage years.
Later while at another work location I heard on their tv about Michael having a cardiac arrest and being brought to the hospital. A heart surgeon on the news was saying it wasn't good news. He said that most people who suffer cardiac arrest outside a hospital will die.
A couple hours later as I'm eating dinner and watching tv the sad news was announced.
The very first album I ever owned was the BEN Soundtrack in 1973.
This is so hard to accept for me, the passing of these two great Icons. Please, everbody take your health issues seriously. Please seek help if you need it.
