Where the hell do you live that you get Dolly in your neck of the woods?! I heard her tour was going to be in very select cities. Lucky you.
As for Mars Volta, I've never heard that they are any good, just assumed they would be. Now I am most intersted w/ the 2 POV's here.
And the Breeders. WOW! Dunno if I could handle a whole show of her stuff, but she is a force to be reckoned w/ in pop culture music. Do tell how it is. Have a blast!!!! All ya'll's put my measley shows to shame.

I'm literally sick that I probably won't get to see Dolly.

speaking of Dolly, on a totally unrelated note, I deeply miss RickyRy.

So that means that only the Celine Dion concert is in the cards for you this year?

I'm not usually much of a concert-goer because I don't really have the money, or moreso, I don't have the money to pay for my friends who don't want to come along enough to spend the money themselves. But this year has been quite good to me and in the next two months I am seeing:

Stevie Nicks
Matt Nathanson
Lifehouse
Hanson (you have no idea how excited I am for this, SO excited)
Billy Joel
REM

And that's just till June! I'm hoping to add on the American Idol tour (love me some David Cook) at least, possibly OAR and probably a few other things as well.

You have a point there.
Why always pay for good gig memories,
bad memories last just as long.

I'm debating on Rilo Kiley tonight AND next week in Santa Cruz. SC is my old stomping ground, and I so love to see shows there, but I've nothing better to do today, so maybe I'll see them both times. I did just see that The Breeders are doing a free in store signing & show 5/1. Since I won't likely be going to their show, can you say HELL yea, I'll be @ that signing. Kick ass!
I also just got tix for Live 105's yearly BFD. IMO, those things have SUCKED for the last 10 years, but for only $10.53 a ticket to see 20+ bands, what the hell. I'm game for Cypress Hill...they are always fun, though not my bag on a regular basis. Plus Moby...met him once, but actually never seen him perfome, so ok, that's $10's worth. The rest of the bands.....who??????

My concert season kicked off last Thursday with Bon Jovi/Daughtry. It was a high energy show. Here's some pics:

JUST neil Diamond? Oh boo-hoo! lol. Hell, if that were the only show for me in one year, I'd take it! I had no idea he was out and about this year either. Have always wanted to see him live...as so many lucky Ledgies have. Hell I'd go!

As for BJ & Dot, yea, um, so Jovie looks pretty damn hot! Have I mentioned that one time he & Sambora (sp?) were in our Sedan? Hubby picked them up having no idea who they were, but "thought" they were famous? UGH! If there is one reason we'll never sell that car (it's no longer used for Airport, but instead a private car) it's cause those asses have graced the seats. lmao. I've never been a huge BonJovie fan, but my friend wants to see them. Thinking even lawn seats would suffice. Your seats were crazy good! Great photos!
