Clinton did away with the policy but our current Bush reinstituted the policy.

So is Kerry going to provide birth control and abs to foreign countries or is he saying no? I always wonder, when Oprah goes to Africa, or whatever, cause so many people there have aids and are extremely poor, and kids are starving, etc, if any part of charity there brings birth control...I never hear oprah talking about that...

No, but if it's short I may. Politics makes me very emotional, in a sad way, and so I don't follow everything as closely as someone with my brain normally should. Life is hard enough already, you know?

But on your recommendation I may read it.

Yes, Kerry will begin funding those programs again. BTW, President Clinton is doing a lot of good work with his AIDS project right now.

oh, that's good. Is he giving out birth control, too? Or is he just helping the people. When I watched a show about the African epidemic, it was so gross, because the men keep raping little girls and young women because (i think it's because they want to anyway and are disgusting and repulsive) but ostensibly because they think that if you do it with a virgin that it cures Aids. So there is also a lot of cultural education work to do there, which seems an almost impossible task to me, It's extremely difficult and time consuming to re-educate a whole culture, and often you absolutely cannot change peoples cultural biases (which Bush seems to have no concept of) Anyway....
