I loved The Aviator. I think Leo has done some great work. But I see your mind is made up.

Oh, I'm sure they will. If I see the Project Runway finale once more, I'll spew burrito chunks.

Oh, no one gets on my tits as much as him, dear. There were so many scenes in The Aviator that became unintentionally hilarious because of his acting, most notably the blueprints scene. I was embarrassed for him.

JMO so I don't piss anyone off...

Why? I thought you loved watching some Wendy Pepper They seriously have played that about 15 times since Wednesday night. It's getting annoying now.

Really? Wow. He made HH sympathetic to me.

I loved him in the Basketball Diaries and Marvin's Room, too.

I agree and pretty much everyone I have seen who has worked with him praises him as the real deal. AND - I am not a big fan of his. Personally, I think he should have won for Gangs of NY - along with MS and DDL for that.

I find him very whiney and childish in most of his movies. There's something that just gets under my skin. When I watch actors perform, I want them to make me forget that they're actors, I want them to be the character they're playing. He fails to do that for me and comes across as very self-conscious. He should take lessons from his co-star Cate Blanchett. Now THERE is an actor.

I LOVE Blanchett. I want her to win tonight. She should've won for Elizabeth over Gwyneth Paltrow. Plus, I think Cate is gorgeous.

Paltrow was good in the Bar flic., but IMO NOTHING like CB as QEI - she was sooooo subtle in that, esp. in the last scene

She's beautiful. I thought she should have been nominated for Veronica Guerin last year, she was fab in that one. I don't know, though, any other year I'd be rooting for her, but not this year.

She was phenomenal. I should watch that again; it's been awhile since I've seen it.

I was shocked she wasn't nominated for VG. Even if she doesn't win this year, she will in due time. It's a given.

She's kind of one of those actresses that is always so good, so sometimes she is overlooked, I think. She's really a cut above.
