Other FB peeves... I have friends that are newlyweds. They post to each other, several times a day, "oh honey, I love you SO MUCH. Can't wait to get home to my baby. I miss you so much". It's nauseating, and no one wants to read that sh*t! And everyone talks about how they can't stand it, behind their backs.

I don't think I've ever had that, but I had this one wacky guy I unfriended that filled his wall with mushy love junk to no one in particular and it always came up in my feed

As for that, I have the same issue myself with other games. Like I really care someone sent me something for Farmville, which I stopped ages ago. Same goes for Mafia Wars, except I play that far too much and have joined a clan too (they're a group of people who play the game together and whatnot), but I still make fun of the crazies who think the game is a power trip (I kid you not, they practically took out mortgages to play the game too )

I've unfriended 4 ppl(almost literally, a GANG of four). If you remember my end of summer terrible pool party(things got out of hand, sexually, between all parties). Strangeness. Last night, the two I care about, started texting me, and told me that they miss me, and want me back in their lives. The two remaining unfriended, are actually THEIR friends, who I can't really stand now, so it's going to be awkward, if I'm forced to hang with them, too.....JTIS

I know whatcha mean about those notifications. I woke up one morning and logged onto FB, to find that the majority of my notifications were from games I didn't even play anymore (I keep on forgetting to block some of them), but shouldn't there be a way to prevent notifications from coming up in your news feed?

I live in a medium sized(100K) town, and NO ONE there Twitters(tweets, whatever). My friends in Indy Twitter, though. That's kind of strange. Is it more of a big city thing? My friend moved down from Indy, and he told me that everyone there Tweets, but no one in my town does.

I have a Twitter, but I never use it. Here, it seems that people who Tweet either do so for business purposes or are local celebrities. I also know people who use it to promote their side businesses, like photography or freelance writing. And them some just have it to enter contests and giveaways.

no, he's not on twitter, according to his niece.

you can do searches for what you are interested in on twitter - so you can use it kinda like a news feed in real time, sometimes.
