Many among these would fall under my list of favorite Lindsey songs. Pure musical bliss is indeed an accurate description of You Do Or You Don't.

I do not tend to be in love with Lindsey songs (although I like many very much)

I have never listened to a solo Lindsey album. I do like his songs on EP though.

My top ten in order:

1. Stephanie (I could listen to this all day on repeat, and have before, might actually be one of my favorite songs ever)
2. Without a Leg to Stand On (I love "Look around but you won't see me, Just a picture of what I used to be")
3. Never Going Back Again (what's not to love)
4. Tango in the Night (love the mood/ atmosphere)
5. Book of Love (so fun to sing along with)
6. I'm So Afraid (killer)
7. Second Hand News (fun!)
8. Caroline (love everything)
9. Tusk (far out and awesome)
10. Go Your Own Way (perfection, only low on my list because I've heard it so many times, I'm worn out)

I love both of those songs too. If I had two more places those songs would have been on my list.

I can't believe that so far, I'm the only person that listed The End of Time. It's a classic and I know he singing about him and Stevie. Perfect song.

Here are my top 10 Lindsey songs, in no particular order.

1. Second Hand News - I love the positive vibe of this tune.
2. Trouble - Very melodic - I love the solo guitar parts.
3. Murrow Turning Over - I love the eclectic, bouncy sound.
4. Miranda - The lyrics are so weird, but I love it. Kinda like Duran Duran's lyrics (another favorite band of mine).
5. My Little Demon - Love the meaning behind the song, and it's great to dance to. I like the quirky guitar.
6. Bleed To Love Her - Another one I love the lyrics to.
7. Go Insane (the original, not live) - 80's goodness. Period.
8. Holiday Road - Fun and Elvis-y.
9. Stephanie - There's emotion all over this simple guitar solo and I love it.
10. I know I'm Not Wrong - Just an all-around fun song.

My appreciation of Fleetwood Mac started when I fell in love with Stevie's songs (Gypsy from Live in Boston and the 1977 Dreams video) and then bought In Your Dreams. So still primarily a Stevie fan here are my top 10 Lindsey songs:

In order of when they were released - FM then solo
1. Go Your Own Way - just a really great, catchy song - awesome guitar parts as usual
2. The Ledge - just so unusual and a really fun song
3. Oh Diane - I love it when he sings whoa oh oh Diane!
4. Tango in the Night - slightly eerie, haunting with a great guitar solo
5. My Little Demon - probably my favourite song from The Dance, easy to sing along to and a little more light-hearted than a lot of his work which is nice to hear from a man as serious as Lindsey. Liked how Stevie looks pissed off while he plays/sings this song in the clip from The Dance.
6. Steal Your Heart Away - favourite line: "If I don't call for a reservation...they'll just turn me down, turn me inside out"
7. Come - great blazing guitars at the end and the only Fleetwood Mac song which really qualifies as being profane or sexual - it was a bit of a shock at first but now I really like it
8. You Do or You Don't - someone else listed it, hadn't heard it before so watched/listened to it online and loved it! Has anyone noticed, correct me if I'm wrong, some of the lyrics to Bleed to Love Her are copied/borrowed from You Do or You Don't (i.e. "Somebody's got to see this through/All the world is laughing at you/In this moment going to turn out right")
9-10 Stars Are Crazy - he sings it so passionately you can't help but love it
The End of Time - a sweet, gentle song.

Oh yes. I like it too. That line is from What's the World Coming To, but you're right Lindsey does reuse lyrics. Listening to the I Want You Back video today I thought of all of his different dogs with a bone.

I tend to like the repeated phrases, although it turned people off recently on the EP. But I first loved it starting with the Tusk album, with the "here comes the night time, looking for a little more" and "don't blame me" lines.

I don't know why I thought it was from Steal Your Heart Away - just listening to it now and the line I like is "The light was creeping...down, down, down...while we were sleeping..."
I like What's the World Coming To as well but not as much.

Two of the new songs (new at the time) Stevie contibuted to SYW share some lyrics - "I like the coastal cities, I like the lights/I like the way the ocean plays into the city at night" (Illume/Destiny Rules) but you probably already knew that.

Stevie and Lindsey BOTH are guilty of reusing lyrics and phrases, and guitar riffs/melodies. It goes waaaay back. "Stephanie" may be the oldest song to be recycled? There is a thread somewhere in this board about all of Lindsey's recycled lyrics/melodies. There are many!!

it's very Fleetwood Mac-y. maybe people who are more FM-fans first and not chiffs first like it better.

as a Lindsey fan, i like the lyrics and that he shows maturity, but the melody is not anything special to me.

Great thread! I included FM, BN, and solo stuff, and these are in order (ten, it's so hard to choose!):

1.) Go Your Own Way
2.) Countdown
3.) Castaway Dreams
4.) Oh Diane
5.) Sad Angel
6.) What Makes You Think You're the One
7.) Illumination
8.) I'm So Afraid (live, or else it wouldn't be on the list)
9.) Peacekeeper
10.) Without A Leg to Stand On
