-Green plays the resonator guitar and possibly the 6 string bass, which I think is on part II as well. That first electric guitar that comes in has a weird timbre which makes me think it could be the 6 string bass. -It does sound like two high lead guitars in the solo sections (Kirwan w/ overdub). -John (bass) and Mick (percussion) are on part I. -Hard to tell if Green plays a Les Paul, but I'll assume he does. This is a song I would love to listen to the master tapes and see how it was layered because mono makes it difficult to dissect. |
