I thought all these people hated the Ledge
I thought it was a big ole mean, scary place and 7W was friendlier and full of sunshine and involved lots of skipping and giggling?
Or is this just what The Administration wanted you to believe?
I don't understand!

LEDGE BAD. LEDGE VURY BAD.

I really think that the most pathetic thing of all is that the 7w kiddies sat around and smiled and nodded while The Wizard got all dictator on everyone's asses, and are just NOW doing something about it. Wasn't it obvious enough early on? I DON'T GET IT

Oh, and Danny - I was wondering where my flogger was! I can't have a hookup without forgetting SOMETHING, can I? Silly 'ol me.

But they have an image forum. Sacrifices must be made for an image forum, Kate.

All former wonderers, welcome. Sit down, grab a cold beer, and watch the ride.

My name is Barbara, and I joined up here in 2005, but really didn't post too much. Did post a lot on the 7 Wonders board. We are mostly all now banned, LOL. So you are stuck with us, if you will have us.

I run an online store called the Enchanted Mirror, and make custom Stevie style shawls, capes, hats, legwamers, and also offer the crescent moon and pyramid necklaces, and lots more. Oh, I also do tribute shows, called Stevie Nicks Illusions, and my tribute band is called Timeless. Love Stevie since I was 14, I am now 36, live in KY.
Have five kitties, and they pretty much rule the house, LOL...
Thank you for the welcome!
Barbara

Here's a welcoming gift:

Why, thank you. I just got home from a long morning of stacking 600 bales of hay in a loft. Now that I'm refreshed after a shower, I've signed on with intend of starting an introductory thread for us newbies (oh, god, I'm a newbie again?). Thanks for starting it for me! :P

Anywho, my name is Brooke. I signed up for the Ledge back in '05, right before it went down, and got an invite to 7W's. I was a mod there, but I guess I'm not now! Ha!

The first things peopel learn about me when the meet me :

1) I love horses. I'm a horseaholic, if you would, and could talk about them nonstop.

2) I have 5 kitties, who are equivilent to my children.

3) I'm a huge Stevie/FM fan - but you've probably figured that out already.

4) I talk way too much and can be a little goofy.

Anyway, it's nice to be here, I'm looking forward to putting drama and egos behind me, and meeting a whole new slew of Stevie/FM fans!

I never hated the Ledge. I just didn't get a chance to come here before, wound up on 7W's, and - well, well, the rest is history. I don't know that anyone hated the Ledge. I know there are many peopel who originally came here, but ended up on 7W while the Ledge was down, and I guess that's where we stayed.

I, for one, was WRONG.
I thought 7W WAS a nice, friendly place, and
people were nicer there than over here.
BUT, except for the others who are banned (that I adore) and
a very few left on that board, I bow my head and say,

I am sorry. I was wrong. I am happy to be here,
and I hope everyone will forgive me, and give me a chance
to start over

Barbara

The same goes for me. I started on BN, migrated over to The Ledge because the topics and conversation were just more interesting...and then I joined seven Wonders while The Ledge was down, and well...stayed there for the same reason.

Default Who are the moderators and how do I contact?

I have a friend from the 7W board who is registered but cannot sign on (another displaced 7W member)...
and they get this error message:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I am not sure who the moderators are here, or how to help her sign in, can you please let me know?

Thanks so much, Barbara

My experience on the Internet is that tightly controlled forums have the appearance of everyone being all nice but it's just forced niceness. I couldn't stand SW because every Stevie concert review started with something like "don't anyone post anything negative about the setlist in MY review thread", so the entire thread was nothing but "I agree" and "thank u". Everyone acting all nice because they felt like they had to. I would have posted more if I felt like I could actually say what was on my mind.
