Can't say I'm disappointed. I really liked Soundgarden and Temple of the Dog. I kind of grew up with their music because my mom used to listen to them and Pearl Jam quite a lot when I was in junior high (she still listens to Pearl Jam, actually). When I first heard AudioSlave (Like a Stone, I believe it was), I loved it, I bought the album. But once I listened to it I was so disappointed with what I heard that I gave the cd away to a friend of mine and I haven't regretted it.

I'm quite glad to hear this. I love Chris Cornell and think he's a fantastic singer, but apart from a few decent songs, I thought Audioslave was trash. Excited to hear that he's recording a solo album, I'll definitely have to check that out.

His other solo record had some great songs. I am excited to hear a new one from him. Not as excited as I am to see you posting though, Moony.

I think it's fantastic. It brings out the sinister undertones of the lyrics. I have an MP3 of this I shall post in a minute

Moons ya gotta see it on a big screen! It's so much fun. Totally action packed. I just saw it in a second run place a few weeks back. The title sequence is so damned good, and you need to see the dude walk out of the ocean in his speedo on the big screen. I coulda watched it with no sound.
