Yeah, it looks like they probably would. Well, maybe not through it, cause that is when my cats collectively ran into my closet, but right up until the earth starts shaking they will be sleeping. Stupid cats.
Thanks for the well wishing, I'm trying to bolt my shelves to the wall, and take my breakables off shelves before I go out of town, for the kitties. I wish I could take my kitties with me.

It's apparent to me that your cats are evil geniuses - They're obviously brilliant to run & hide in the closet. Isn't that what they tell you to do in an earthquake? Get away from windows & take cover? Brilliant. Oh, the evil comes in because they didn't bother to warn you.

I thought of you when I read about these little quakes, since you had told us you've never experienced one before. I worry that these small ones are warnings for bigger ones. I recommend you start sleeping in your closet.
