Check out In the Cut. Meg Ryan's first porn movie.

I couldn't believe that Jennifer Jason Leigh and Mark Ruffalo actually signed on to be in that flick. They should leave it off their resumes.

Hocake. Can I just say that when I finally realized what the movie was referencing, I gave a big old WTF?!? Glad I didn't pay to see that one.

Possession starring Gwenyth Paltrow, Jeremy Northam, Aaron Eckhart and Jennifer Ehle. It's just a great film to begin with but when Ash and Christabel FINALLY meet each other at the train station.... *le sigh*....

I was gonna mention Possession but I thought my list was already way, way, way too long !

I think Jeremy Northam & Jennifer Ehle's love scene in that film is breathtaking.

Dudes, you're all wrong.

The quintessential love scene of all time is when Elizabeth Shue gives Nick Cage the booze flask in Leaving Las Vegas.

Unconditional love. Even if it means you're gonna die.

-The Way We Were: Streisand brushing the hair out of Redford's forehead as they say goodbye one last time

-As Good as it Gets: Besides the aforementioned "You make me want to be a better man" scene, Melvin's monologue convincing Carol to stay with him....then his forgetting to step over the crack on the sidewalk.

-Forrest Gump: When Forrest gives her his Medal of Honor

That's a real Carne thing to say.

That was a great flick, albeit a very depressing one. Shue is a beauty, too bad she doesn't make more movies.

It blew chunks, which was a shame because the book was fantastic. Meg Ryan is one of the worst actresses ever. And the worst actor award goes to Mark Ruffalo's mustache.

Have you ever seen Boys on the Side? I watched it last night and there was a scene where Whoopi and Mary Louise Parker are watching it and Whoopi's just laughing hysterically during that AWFUL scene in The Way We Were.

They always told me about this movie as a remake of the Cary Grant /Deborah Kerr movie (An affair to remember, I think). But it is not.
Anyway I was dissapointed about SIS. I expected something better

Default My fave moments

- Moonstruck. I LOVE CHER in this movie. IT has many romantic moments.
- Pretty Woman. Another fave. The night in San Francisco, she in red dress, the jet, the opera, It's a Cinderalla story but beautiful
- Gone with the Wind. The kiss when Rett leaves Scarlett after leaving Atlanta
- Cousins. I loved Isabella Rossellini in this movie.

Well to avoid some listed above - which I like a lot of:

-The end of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves...where Marian says something like, "You came for me, you're alive!" and Robin says, "I would die for you" and they kiss...it so gets to me every time...I love it

-The end of The Other Sister...so cute!

-Where the Heart is - when she drives across the country to tell Forney she loves him....and he's like, "there could never be anything better than you" or something...

-Even though many hate this film- the end of The Mirror Has Two Faces where Jeff Bridges finally gets his head out of his ass and realizes he loves Barb - and he goes to her place in the very early morning...and they're dancing/kissing in the street..I love that....

I just saw "Under the Tuscan Sun" with Diane Lane. Very romantic, specially the poland guy with the italian girl, they have many romantic scenes.

Meg, Meh????! She's soooo cute, like a little kitten...Did you see French Kiss? Did you notice how Stevie thanked Meg Ryan in her notes on TISL? Sorry, it's just hard to imagine not liking MR....

Anyway, my movie is not a romantic movie but is my favorite movie and still has romantic moments....
All About Eve, when Gary Merril, as Bette Davis' boyfriend, resists the come ons of Eve, the young user, and even though Bette Davis has previously thrown horrible (and fabulous) jealous tirades, he gives a big speech about why he loves HER, diva behavior and all, and then they get married.
