I know that, but there were only around 655,000 or so votes cast in that county and Kerry could not have picked up 118,000 votes with W gaining none in that county. Moreover, you cannot accurately use that 2.83 in every county because surely it did not apply in heavily R counties or even counties were the vote was split more evenly.

If I had the time, I'd love to get a team of statisticians and go to each county, recount by hand each vote and then apply the stat to that.

Again, I think the true fault is with the long lines, etc.

Seriously, I just like facts and I do not see them here in the sense that Kerry could have picked up enough votes to take Ohio. Mind you, I voted for Kerry (though I really did not like him) and despise W.
