Well, before marriage, my initials were MAM, so I was called M&M's for a while by friends. My daddy used to call me pumpkin or monkey when I was little. Now it's mom or evil step mother... Some of my friends call me hooch....

My parents called me "Kiki" when I was little. One of my cousins actually called me that first because he couldn't pronounce my name, so my parents adotped it. My dad had tons of nicknames for me as a kid.... Contessa, Peanut Head , Pumpkin Shell, etc.

In high school, my friends called me Krista-Bear.

Husband calls me hun (as in honey, not as in Attilla )

Dad calls me Paulie, but with his heavy accent it sounds kind of like Pwooley. Mom calls me Paul.

A couple of people at work call me Paula Jean. I don't know why & neither do they. It just stuck. Some call me P.

I got "hey, Paula Abdul!" a lot in high school. You know, back when she had a music career & was coherent.

Back in high school, I called a friend on the phone & her dad answered. I left a message for her to call me, but he misheard & thought I said Carla. Around the same time, my other friend decided that since I was part Polish (she is too) that I should have a -ski at the end of my name. So I became Carla Zlatski & to her, that's still my name.

k, I need to know - any "Hey, hey Paula"'s?

I think your official Polish/Italian name should be Carla Maria Victoria Angelina Teresa Appollonia Lozupone.

Most of the time people at work call me by my last name. I've let them know on several occasions that I loathe and despise it, but they continue to do it. I mean it's an office, not a baseball team.

Otherwise, the normal people call me Mike. Some call me Mikey, but as I was typing this out I realized that a lot of people just come up to me and say "Hey boy". Maybe I'm more ghetto then I thought?

ETA: Oh yeah, Carrie and Jaz get to call me Gina. Eat your hearts out!

Currently, people just say "Hey asshole". It works.

Former nicknames include Lisa Pisa, Lili or Li, Lola, Cyndi, Mike (a friend of mine started this, and it's stuck since 7th grade), Gia (I don't know? Another weird friend thing. I think it was the name I used to give out on the internet when people asked me what my real name was. lulz.)

Yeah. Like 3 times a week. And thanks for the Appollonia addition.

Am I missing something? The only "big tuna" I can think of is that big fat guy from the movie Blow with Johnny Depp. I know you're not comparing me to him!
