My favorite. "Although my lover lives in a place that I can't live, I kind of find I like a life this lonely." That song is perfection. I've been fascinated with the bridge on Auf Achse for, like, a week now, though.

Now playing: Joss Stone on the Alfie soundtrack. Must.Find.Skip.Button.

Good to hear that you're skipping her. That woman should be shot in the face!

Awww, she's only 16. But I can't stand her, she's horrid. The only bad spot on an otherwise brilliant album.

Well, I finally decided to buy Franz after my friend relentlessly tried to convince me of their brilliance. She lives in the UK and saw them live there. Hasn't. Shut. Up. Since.

I'm glad I got it though. They're so damn catchy I can help but love it.

I? Am the the authority on Ze Franz. They're one of my biggest obsessions. Kick ass songs, great live performers, and Alex Kapranos lights my fire. Yummy. I can't wait for the new album. I think I cross off each day on my calendar with anticipation...

Oh, I'll definitely have to pick up their new one. Methinks I'm falling for them. And yes, Alex is very yummy. I have a serious weakness for an accent though. Jude Law & David Beckham are probably my favs. My boyfriend is from England too.

Oy, Jude Law. He's hot with a captial H. I never paid much attention to him, actually, but he caught my eye recently and he is one damn fine specimen of man. David Beckham is nasty to me, though. Manwhores always are, especially when they look like they stink to the high heavens. So, in conclusion, I'll take Jude and Alex and you can have Beckham all to yourself.

And you're one lucky beeyotch to have your own boytoy with an accent.

Ah well, I know Beckham is a cad. As is most of the people I have crushes on.

Maybe I can convince my BF to let me post our pic. He's a little pissy though, ever since we were it by a Hummer and he broke his leg and several ribs.

I know I shouldn't be laughing at that, but I am anyway.

That reminds me, I was so relieved when reading that Huckabees article you posted that Jim Carrey did not take over Jude's role in Huckabees. Can you imagine?

I would have never watched it because I despise Jim Carrey. Jude Law was the best out of all of them in it (and that's saying a helluva lot because everyone was marvelous, but he was just fab going from treacherous corporate slime to a total train wreck), and I can't imagine anyone but him in that role. And Jim Carrey dating Naomi Watts would have been as believable as Barbra Streisand dating Olivier Martinez. But, then again, I didn't buy Jude as an eight-minute man in Huckabees, so believability ain't everything.
