Anyone else notice the sheepskin armrest thingies? Just like the ones Stevie had on that barstool/chair she used all through the recording of SYW....

Just aesthetics? Comfort? Related to the heavy gloves she was wearing for a while? Is she too delicate for chair arms?

In his memoir Steve Martin writes of doing a show in Greenwich Village and his opening act was Stevie and Lindsey.

I believe it is the same chair, as it has appeared in several photos over the years and was in the Destiny Rules documentary as well. She seems to have found something that suits her and takes it with her for recordings, rehearsals and on tour.

As for the gloves, that is something she has worn off and on throughout her career in every imaginable style, both on-stage and off.... Just chalk it up to a Stevie fashion thing.....
Sheepskin is just comfortable, especially over chair arms....

d,

really! You'd think Courtney would get the names of Stevie's dermatologist and plastic surgeon...

do we know when the fourth pic from the bottom was taken? I've never seen it before and it's stunning. I'm thinking maybe 95 - 96 but it's hard to tell. Even the hair isn't giving me a good clue.

yeah, I was thinking that's probably more like it. Plus she seemed fond of posing with closed eyes during that era.

I suppose I'm in some kind of semi-retirement at the moment, but I'm working on updating my Photobucket (the new format sucks, sticking with the old one) so here's a post just to prove I'm still alive.

It wasn't that long ago that they changed it and forced us to use their new version. Now they are harassing us to update again. I agree, it sucks. I'll continue to keep it the way it is until they force me to upgrade, which I'm sure in time, they will.
