The first two shows were a little slow but as of last night it sure picked up. I was laughing so hard.

I would love to see her. She was so talented and had a great attitude. And her "Start Me Up" is still one of the best performances. |

Rating the original songs: (best to worst)
Storm Toby Magni Dilana Lukas Rating the cover performances: Lukas Dilana Toby Magni Storm Nobody's "set" was entirely enjoyable tonight. I didn't feel that inspired, but I'm voting for Dilana anyway. They don't want her on the show anymore and she's doing what she can to help them out in that regard, but I would like to see her make a triumphant return. ps: Storm grabs her crotch too much. That is all. |

I loved Storm tonight, she was by far my favorite. I want to see her do the original again, she should get the encore for that.
I loved Lukas' cover of "Livin' on a Prayer." Wasn't crazy about his original song. I liked both Magni's and Toby's originals. Dilana's lost herself, and it's showing in her performances. Bottom 3: Dilana Magni Toby |

Storm was fantastic. Loved the Bowie song with Dave. I think he has a crush on her. And her original was fantastic. I can see her or Toby fronting the band. Lukas is starting to lose me a little bit. He makes the three geezers look old whereas Toby doesn't. Lukas is a cute little imp though. Very endearing. Please let Stormy get to sing with Supernova tomorrow night.

Supposedly whoever gets the encore wins one of those Honda vehicles they're always pimping on the show.

Dilana's original song said to me "I know I'm not going to win, but I am who I am, and I'm okay". And it was really boring, as was her uninspired take on the Who song. I'm a little sad today because she really moved me for weeks. I think she's got major personal issues that put her in a self-destructive mode.
I also think she was been set up as the new tension magnet once Zayra was cut. For example, last night, they kept cutting to a shot of her looking bored during her colleagues' performances while everyone else was cheering. I think it was the same shot shown over and over. Anyway, goodbye Dilana, thank you for the weeks of magic. I will always have my memories of Zombie, Lithium, Ring of Fire, Time After Time, Cats In The Cradle. The rest: I thought Storm kicked ass. This is the first time I've even enjoyed her at all. Loved Lukas' cover. Loved Toby's original. Magni is just Magni--very talented, pleasant to look at, but a little boring. I think Storm is the new dark horse, but right now I'd say Toby and Lukas are frontrunners. |

^ ITA, Ryan. With pretty much everything you posted. I'm loving Storm & Toby's originals.
Bottom 3: Dilana Magni Lukas Dilana will probably go. Although I have a feeling the band may let Magni go - mainly due to his family. I don't know if he'll want to leave his baby for that long to tour & I think the band knows it. |
