Well, then you're stuck trying to explain why Lindsey would be playing a Gibson Les Paul on the Tusk tour (not to mention wearing that 1978 tour jacket). Have at it, pal. But let me find a chair -- I want to get comfortable for this.

Probably for the same reason that Sanne2 has proven to us that they used different backdrops on the Tusk Tour that were used on previous tours. Maybe Lindsey used this shirt or guitar early in the tour. Do you have a picture from every show they did?
The chair you are sitting on only has three legs.

I have to agree with you on this one David. It is the 1978 tour. While Stevie did wear similar clothes on the Tusk Tour, Lindsey had gotten rid of those horrible jackets and started wearing his nice suits onstage by the time of the Tusk tour.

Well I admit I didn't look past stevie to come up with 1978 for this pic. I did look at Lindsey but that didn't help me like it helped David. Stevie's hair in this photo does NOT say tusk.

I don't know for sure, but I thought Lindsey got Armani suits made for the Tusk tour, two lots, one in grey and one in white, and apparently by the end many were completely destroyed because he sweated so much!

Here's the suits:

On the 78 tour, similarly he had two satin jackets in different colours. I actually don't mind them. Of course, I can't say if he didn't pull these out again for the Tusk tour, I'm just saying they were mainly worn on the 78 tour, but he may have worn them again.

The last photo was actually in the Tusk tour programme.

It's cool discussing Lindsey on the Stevie board

This is what happens when Stevie spends more than five minutes in the Sun.

"C'mon guy, I can't see **** with this watermark in my face!"

"Y'know Mick, you're gonna regret signing me up for that college physics class in a couple seconds."

"These kids don't know I'm naked, do they, Chris?"

OH...and, as David pointed out, if Lindsey's playing a Gibson Les Paul, it's BEFORE the Tusk tour. The Tusk tour was when he debuted the then brand new Turner Model 1 guitar from the get-go.

Yep, which is what I said. 1978. August 30 to be precise.

plus Linds still has the big fro going on in this pic. By Tusk he had the cropped hair and lots of blush!! Stevie's outfit does look very Tuskish but we know that she wears the same **** for years and years. This was around time the whole witch thing was coming to be and she probably decided at this point to give the black a rest.

ok ok I give up! I just have never seen Stevie wear that outfit until the Tusk Tour. Even the pics Sanne2 provided don't convince me.
