I'm watching Ellen right now, and she said that when she was young, she had a crush on Lindsey. Maybe that's why she dated Anne Heche...

I sure wish she'd sit and talk to him. I have a feeling it would be a great interview even though short...but considering she didn't talk to Stevie I guess that won't happen.

How disappointing. I had to sit through Larry King, a belly dancer, and stupid videos before FINALLY getting to see Lindsey. He brought Neal, Brett, and Ruben (is that his new percussionists name?) and started playing SUD, so I naturally thought that he'd play another song, but he didn't. They did a great, little bit different version of the song with the band joining in after the first verse or so. There was no interview, not even one question from Ellen, and no second song, just more dumb videos.

Maybe that's what he prefers since it doesn't happen anymore? Who knows?

Wally Reyes Jr to be exact! Very nice guy. Great musician. Almost Keith Moon-ish onstage...with a bit of Cosmo Kramer.

Watched it earlier (Recorded it of course) and was disappointed that more time was spent on Larry Fling (He who has been married/divorced probably 15 times in the time it takes me to finish this post).
However, LB and co. sounded fine...Just wished LB would get a longer segment on one of the talk shows.

The "Gluts" exercise woman was just on. Wonder what Lindsey thought of her Lindsey's on next here after commercials

That must be where I got "Ruben". Ruben the "Groovin' Cuban" sounds better than Walfredo the "Groovin' Cuban".

Hmm, interesting, Shut Us Down WITH band. That is quite a turn. Normally he rearranges bandsongs into acoustic solopieces, now he's going the other way round? You just never know with this guy.
at least he didn't do NGBA and Big Love, Like Stevie did with Stand Back and Landslide. booooooooooooooring!

Wellllllll, Stevie was promoting her greatest hits cd (and face it, they are her best known songs) and Lindsey was promoting a new album.

No, but they never seem to leave his set do they

No, but we can't say he does them in a lackluster routine way either huh?
At least he played a NEW song, and even THAT one in a NEW arrangement. Come on, Strandie, at LEAST she could have picked something more "recent" and surprising. And at LEAST you could have commented something more cheerful about Lindsey's choice.

Oh -- I agree La Nicks needs to update her schtick! As for LB, he pretty much does the same set each night, though he is to be lauded for the changes and spontenaeity he shows at times!!! |
