I had tickets for his show on July 22, was shaping up to be the best year ever seeing MJ and the Mac. Now it just seems empty.

Wanna be start ing something has been on my mind since. What a day. I cried when I heard Farrah died. But Michael Jackson just has me in shock. What a huge loss the world has suffered (entertainment wise) today.

wow i am speechless~ tho he looked atrocious as of late & was anorexic, the plastic surgeries, his nose falling off, i never saw this one coming~ this makes 3 now for those of us who are a little superstitious~ ed mcmahon, farrah fawcett & now the king of pop~ i was watching coverage on farrah & my step ma called & said they said on the radio he was dead~ now i am not going to jump on his bandwagon & say i was a huge fan, more of a casual one~ i do feel in my heart that he molested the boys that accused him~ seeing as he paid off 2 of the families, to me points to his guilt~ i do not like to think that he would do such a thing, but in my heart of hearts, i know he did & went unpunished~ i hope somehow, more so for the victims, but also for michael's own soul he was able to someway make amends~

that being said~ this has been a surreal day for me~ i grew up hearing the jackson 5 on the radio & i do have to admit i own thriller on album~ tho i haven't looked at it, in probably 10 years, i know it is still in there in our stacks of vinyl~ there are about 20 songs of his that he sang w/ his brothers & solo that i absolutely loved~ i liked him more when he was still, well let's just face it, when he still looked black~ he lead an interesting, tragic, yet musically talented life~ to his fans he was elvis like, larger than life~ there are people outside the hospital & the home where he died right now & it brings back memories of the crowds for princess di~ they were saying on the news that the premiere of "bruno" is tonight & that the red carpet is covering up michael's star on the hollywood walk of fame, but fans are so compelled to leave mementos, that they have been leaving them at a brit's star who has the same name michael jackson~

hopefully michael had sometime to heal his demons~ & i have to admit when i heard the news, tho i didn't shed a tear, i did grab my crotch do a little jig & let out a collective whohoohoo ~

RIP michael

I am so saddened by this news. Rest in Peace Michael.

I also grew up listening to his music and will always be a part of the soundtrack to my life.
The 80's belonged to Michael. This is so surreal I can not wrap my mind around it.

My college roommate was a huge fan of Michael like I am of Stevie and FM, so hearing news of his loss just makes me want to cry.

Default Jam.

Sad. Michael Jackson has passed on.. I wanted to be him when I was ten…

"..won't you please let me back into your heart..."

I’ve loved his music for as long as I remember.. From ‘I Want You Back‘ to the underrated ‘Dangerous‘ CD - my favorite from Michael. He must have been hanging out in Sly Stone’s recording studio lounge when he wrote the first six songs for Dangerous. Best when wrapped around a toke. ..

Man, this is sad…..Such a talent.. Thanks for the music Michael.. especially Dangerous and Billie Jean and This Time Around - It stays deep inside my heart.. Stay peaceful.

“Why you wanna trip on me…” Michael.

I think you're right. He bought his way out. What is it...three times he was brought for child molestation charges.
