And I might be one of ten people who actually really loved her solo album. And... ugh... don't get me started on Celebrity Skin- perhaps one of the few albums from the 90's that could be considered "classic." If the new album is even 1/10 as good as CS, I will be thrilled!

Celebrity Skin rocks out! I am looking forward to hearing the new Hole album, It was originally going to be a Courtney solo album but that seems to have changed. Perhaps the powers that be thought they could sell more copies and gather more interest in a Hole release rather than a Courtney Love release. Either way, I'm excited about it.

Even though Courtney is the only original member, it does seem like more of a band rather than a solo album under a band name. The new guitarist Micko Larkin produced a lot of the new songs with the same producer that produced Celebrity Skin..He seems to be pretty talented and they seem to connect pretty well.

According to CLove the idea to reform Hole came from the fact that so much negativity was associated with the brand name "Courtney Love" that "Hole" more about the music and less about the tabloid mess.

Courtney will be on the Letterman show tomorrow night I believe (if not Tues,
check Wed.). It has her listed as a guest and musical performer, so who knows?

I just got the album, but I'm waiting until a friend comes over sometime around eleven tonight to give it a spin. We're excited to relive our middle and high school angst.

I never tire of her despeate pleas for love, or the way she channels hopelessness into angst. when she goes from whisper to scream i FEEL it. "Pacific coast highway" and "Honey" are my favs. Well done Courtney and co.
