Tango- that was The Day After Tomorrow, which I actually enjoyed a bit. A TERRIBLE movie, really, but the effects were great and it scared the bejesus out of me.

I can't even figure what the movie is about in the preview. It just looks really really stupid so i'm going to go ahead and take your word for it

Did y'all notice the commercial for Alien V. Predator? I just saw it last night. I don't usually like movies like that, but before i knew what the commercial was about, I thought it was a movie of the video game Area 51 - It looked so much like it. Area 51 is the only video game i love and am good at Anyway, I just thought that was weird. Might see it.

Signs scared the HELL out of me when I saw it. I was afraid to look at TVs that weren't turned on for a while after seeing that movie. But then again, I can't watch any of those alien abduction or whatever specials on TV because they freak me the hell out.

But then I realized Signs made NO SENSE AT ALL and wasn't phased by it anymore.

Oh, but it's so hilarious! I saw Anchorman the night before I saw N.D. and N.D. blew Anchorman out of the water. Granted, they are two totally different movies, but Anchorman was really bad, I mean really bad, and this is for a movie that threw ANYTHING comedic on the wall to see if sticks. Not much did.

So I've heard. I was really looking forward to a new Jarmusch movie too,

What was so awful about it?

It was black and white for no apparent reason, probably to give it more of an "arty" feel which I found absurd. The plot was non-existant, the dialogue was torturous, and the movie just rambled on pointlessly for an hour and a half. I couldn't wait for it to be over. Lord save anyone who rents it when it's out on DVD.

This is what I was planning to do!

...mainly because I'd rather not pay theater price for this one---too many bad reviews.

The dialogue itself would be embarrassing if it wasn't so amateurish. I've heard that it was mostly improvised, and if so, I hope none of these actors give up their day jobs and take up screenwriting. The use of black and white film is so ridiculously obvious (black and white = coffee and cigarettes...it's so clever, I can't stand it ) that it's laughable. Bill Murray was unwatchable, which was shocking to me. What a stain on the resumes of everyone involved.

in seeing "the Village" but from what I have heard is that it would bore me to sleep...

I do wanna see "the Village idiot" starring Hillary "Hill-Billy" Clinton

"Hey Hillary, You're 'village" called and they seemed to have lost their idiot..."

That film already stars Shrub. Unless they're already producing a remake. Damn Hollywood!
