Yeah. I want to keep losing, I'd like to lose 8 more during April. I brought the cookies to work and shared a few of them.

Well done on the diet amber.

I've just started on a little change of diet. Hopefully it'll put a bit more energy in my step and I'll lose a couple of inches in the process. Must keep off the chocolate though. It's always my downfall.

I don't believe in people losing weight for the sake of other people though. I think if someone wants to lose weight for health reasons or if they have to on medical advice or most importantly you just "feel" you need to slim down either 'cos you need to fit into those old jeans

or to just feel better then great. Society makes too much of being slim because of looks alone. Unless somebody I'm dating is clinically obese then it doesn't bother me quite honestly. It sounds like a cliche but eyes and personality win every time for me, I'm not so sure it's the same for many of my buddies.

Yep, because when they are 75, allllll that matters...is how hot you are.

I started walking 20 minutes, 3 times a week, back in January and have been using the Gazelle that my dad bought a few years ago and just put back in the den. LOL I have floated between 130 and 140 (I am about 5 foot 1) for many, many years now. I'd like to lose my gut and my hips need to be slimmer, but overall, I'm cool with me.

No, you are right. When I got to England, I was chunky. If you look at a before I left and after I came home pic...TOTALLY different.

I remember getting compliment after compliment at Christmas that year. It felt great! Now, I've gained some back obviously, because I don't walk 50 miles a day like I did in London. LOL I didn't eat much over there either. Many factors played in to that.

It's warm here in North Texas. They keep saying rain, rain, rain, but nothing this week. I think it's gonna be around 80 degrees or so today.
