Well I ended up putting in over 2400 text votes last night. I was definitely hard core, but it was fun chatting with the peeps on Taylor's AI board and then I called a friend of mine who is a definite Katharine fan. I was texting, she was dialing the phone, so I guess we cancelled each other out. It was kinda fun, regardless!

I'm looking forward to tonight, seeing Chris, Elliott and Taylor perform. I think they'll do a great job without the competition pressures to deal with. I have a feeling the Soul Patrolman is gonna be uncontrollable!

I got 25 votes in for Taylor through the phone. Thats the most I've ever voted. At 12:30 I had to stop, my fingers were getting tired.

How did you get through?!?! Oh well, there goes my theory that it was easier to get through for kat. Hopefully, you cancelled out Brandon's votes.

Ballot stuffing is just wrong...

I voted for Kat, because I can't stand Taylor, but I still think he will win.

Question

My husband & I never got through to Taylor's three lines a one time! I even tried at about 12:45 a.m. & it was busy. Just for grins & giggles, I tried one of those lines this morning & it was busy! What was up with that?

I'm guessing you're responding to the fact that I said Kat has a fat ass...well, I should clarify that I use the term "fat ass" loosely (much in the way Ryan Seacrest uses his). not necessarily that she has a fat ass, but just taking a jab, in general at her. just joking.

and either way, I agree with you.

Thanks boss. For as much criticism as Katharine takes on her body image, it's remarkable that Taylor seems to be the teflon man! He is a truly grande. His jacket is split open in the back!

one thing I will always say is that Kat is drop dead gorgeous. her bone structure alone is phenomenal. and her body...ehhh, I wouldn't mind having it. lol.

I can own that.

I'm not pulling for either as I don't really like either of them, so they both must face my wrath!

Did you catch that when they had the caption "Kat's friends & family" up, it was a shot of Tori Spelling & a bunch of her pals?

Yes, I saw that. I also saw Christina Applegate in the crowd and I was like, "what is SHE doing there?" I don't know why I was puzzled by that, but I was. And then I started wondering if those celebs get free tickets or something because you'll always see an eclectic mix in the audience and with some people you're like, why are THEY there? They don't strike me as fans of American Idol! Again, I don't know what I'm basing this on really .

Oh and Tango (or anyone), about Kat---why does she have body image problems? Girl is smokin' hot! She's absolutely gorgeous and not at all fat. She has a nice curvy figure but she is NOT fat.

I hear what you're saying, really I do. But after Chris left and then Elliott, I just couldn't stomach Katharine winning--she rubs me the wrong way, man. I like Taylor as a person, I just can't stand some of the stuff he does when he performs. I really do like his voice, I admit it. I think he has a nice, soulful, gravely voice and when he shines, he really shines. Although sometimes he's kind of unpredictable with that voice, like you don't really know if it's strong enough to pull most things off, and he's got limited range but I'll take him over prissy Kat any day . Girl grates. SERIOUSLY grates.

Now don't make me drive to your house and kick your ass for voting for Kat!
