Everytime we won a soccer game my freshman year of high school, my coach would bring a stereo onto the field and bust out some crazy ass dance to this song. I can't hear it without seeing him singing "PISSIN' THE NIGHT AWAAAAY" in a girly voice

Trust me -- if you heard them you'd more than likely say, "ooh that song...yeah, it is weird..."

Trust me - Anything on the radios between the '80s and me leaving Austin, & there's a good chance I don't know it.

I agree, the early '90s were the nadir. When Stevie went farthest under klonopin the music biz flushed itself in the tank.

I may have been one of the only people to not understand (nor particuarly like) the whole early 90s Nirvana/Seattle grunge/garage rock craze. Good songs were few and far between at the time.

That reminds me of going out clubbing underage. I could never hate that song!!

Many of the others, yes very weird.

That Turning Japanese song is actually about masturbation right? No one knew tho LOL.

What about Stroke It by Billy Squier? Did that climb the charts? That's very strange that was allowed and " Physical" wasn't ( banned alot of places.)

The song that was number 1 when I was born was " You Light Up My Life" weird only because it's horrible. She can't sing and the song really sucks. How did that get to number 1 and for so long???
