You know, if Jennifer Aniston is feeling lonely she can come into my bedroom ANYTIME!

Yup, Dolly performed. Clooney won best supporting actor. And, you missed the worst Standup comedy (from John) that the Oscars has ever seen.

What's with all the hate for Jon Stewart? I thought his opening was pretty good.

Of course, I'm in love with him, so maybe I'm biased.

No one really laughed...I actually felt bad for him...he seemed so out of place. He was much funnier on Oprah last week TALKING about hosting.

Yeah, I noticed it got really quiet at 5:00... but I thought everyone was just having their pre-oscar drinks.

I didn't see him on Oprah, unfortunately.

He seems like kind of a nervous guy to me, in general. I was expecting him to be really stiff, but he actually seemed more relaxed than I expected.

I really wasn't paying much attention to the crowd, so I didn't really notice their reaction. It just seems to me, though, that the Oscars is always pretty uptight, and everyone always seems to be smiling through clenched teeth.

I happened to love the Bjork joke!

Lightbulb Agreed

Those celebs for the most part are stiff as a corpse when they go to these awards. Leave it to Miss Dolly to try to get them to move...well, clap anyways. I thought Jon did fine and he's WAY more tolerable than Chris Rock or David Letterman.
