Truly. There's no way I could vote for McCain. And she made that point very well.

I know this is a few days old, and it could change after the DNC.. but.. WOW! The Dems still seem very split to me. Would Hillary have made the better candidate? (Don't get me wrong, I don't like any of them.. but I still wonder)

Brwn Eyes this is off subject, but did you see the Carly Simon DVD's Live From Martha's Vineyard, and Live on the QM2? Carly was awesome on those.

I have the Queen Mary 2 one.. and I have seen bits and pieces of the Martha's Vineyard/Menemsha one.. but the DVD is out of print now and is HARD to find! I'd give my left arm for it right about now!

I have it on DVD and also the original VHS. It's one of the few disc I can't make a copy of. Must be some different version of Macrovision on there. That and the QM2 are two of the best concert DVD's I have. My first Carly CD was Coming Around Again, I bought it when it came out. Since then I've purchased many more.

Live in Grand Central Station from 1995 is amazing.. it needs a DVD release.

Maybe I'll eventually get my hands on the Martha's Vineyard one soon! I want to see it remastered and with the interview she did!

Totally forgot about the Grand Central Station concert! I have that too. It does
need an official release.

I believe my Martha's V. DVD has an interview, plus a bonus song or two not on
the original release.

I also have another video release from Carly, was it "My Romance"?

Yeah, Senator Kennedy's speech was bittersweet. I had tears in my eyes, too. I'm not a terribly big fan of his, but I will show him my respect.

I keep falling asleep & missing the major speeches. They come on too late here for me on the East Coast. (I have to get up at 5 a.m.) I'm just going to have to tape tonight's speeches because I really want to hear what Bill & Senator Biden have to say.

Be careful of storm surge & airborne debris, Chris. Also watch for downed power lines & scones that don't have genuine Devon cream on them.
