It's all about economics as good PR. $2M is nothing to Turner, esp. when compared to:

1. The publicity this has gotten them

2. The good PR that the cheap $2M is buying them.

So, though I think the Boston police acted in a grossly uninformed manner, I do not blame Turner one bit.
